Michael Scott (sports administrator)
Michael Scott (born 9 February 1956) is a leading Australian sports administrator. He was the inaugural Director of the New South Wales Institute of Sport and the sixth Director of the Australian Institute of Sport. In February 2015, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Rowing Australia.

He was born on 9 February 1956 in Melbourne, Victoria. He has a Master of Science in Physical Education, Eastern Kentucky University. His son is Gavin Scott, born in 1993. He is currently completing his Honours year at the University of Melbourne.
